Trying to beat the heat!

As the temperature was predicted to be over 90 degrees we headed for one of our favorite spots to try and beat the heat. We pretty much skipped spring altogether around here and went straight to mid summer temps. Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery was our planned destination for a picnic and and hike. It was still pretty hot but a gorgeous place to spend the afternoon. We all had fun feeding the giant trout and then hiking along the beautiful Metolius River. It was a great little hike for us to kick off our hiking season as a family. Everyone is excited for the warmer weather and the chance to get out and explore.
