The sand/dirt beach was just perfect for all the kids. It was shallow enough that everyone could play around and have fun. A bit chilly for me to take the pluge but I am pretty whimpy when it comes to cold water.

Tam McArthur Rim pictured here above the lake. The viewpoint sits at 7730 feet and the panoramic view from there is absolutely spectacular! A definate "must do" hike that is only around 5 miles round trip.

Grandpa and Grandma came up for the evening. We were glad they could join in the fun. Here is a photo of most of the kids listening to Grandpa's childhood bear stories.

I volunteered to store the newly donated scout canoe so we had to take it along and test it out. Josh, Brooke and everyone else who took a ride really enjoyed looking down into the crystal clear water and chasing jumping fish.
