Keep on Trekin'

Our first family hike of the season was really fun. Yesterday the weather was perfect, the kids were ready, Samantha and Trisch were up for an adventure so we hit the trail. The hike we chose was thought to be an "out of the way" hike and we were doubtful to see other hikers. As we arrived at the trail head and searched for a parking spot among the other 15 or so cars it was apparent that it was not as far out of the way as we may have thought. It was a fun hike down into a canyon with a beautiful creek surrounded by lot of grass and tall trees. We went about 3 miles round trip. The kids did great and had a lot of fun playing in the water.
