Brooke Skis & Samantha Does a 180!!

Night skiing on Friday has become our weekly escape to the mountains. This car trip was significant in that Samantha was able to face forward for the first time. She is generally quite happy in the car but this new view will give her much more to smile at.Brooklyn has been wanting to give skiing a go for several weeks now. We told her we would wait until the weather was good and then she could try it out. When we arrived it seemed to be perfect conditions for the outing. By the time we were all suited up and geared up a small blizzard had rolled in. We went anyway and had a good time. Brooke did really well and decided she likes skiing much better with goggles on.


I will admit I feel this is a definite bonus of skiing with the kiddos! They all skied hard and played hard. Josh actually went on the lift all by himself and is getting quite confident on his skis. He and Trisch had fun skiing together. Brooke did a fantastic job for her first time out despite the unpredictable weather. Samantha was "go lucky" happy as always troopin' around in the backpack. All in all another great family outing.
