Happy New Year!!

On New Years Eve we went up to the local ski resort for some entertainment. We first hit the sledding hill before it was too dark. Samantha got her first sledding experience and I think she liked it enough to stick with it! Then we took to the slopes. Josh really has fun skiing and is getting much better. At 9:00 they turn all the lights out and put on a firework display. It was really good this year. Josh and I climbed up a snowbank on the far side of the the parking lot to try and take some photos of the pyrotechnics. Krissy & Ray met us up there with their kids as well as Mom and Dad and half of the Sisters Branch. It was really crowded and loud in the lodge but a great time I thought. The slopes were open until midnight but we left around 10:30.
