Josh has been wanting to hike up our local volcanoe all week. With the weather still fantistic we recruited some ambitious cousins and headed up. The hike is a steady 2 mile incline up to a 62 foot fire lookout. Everyone did very well all the way to the top. Just before we reached the summit the soggy trail turned into a slushy snowfield. It was slow going for a while but everyone made it up. My best guess for the temperature was mid 60's. We had beautiful views all the way around.
